Conditions for feed integration
To ensure the correct downloading of XML feeds, you need to verify the following requirements:
Heurekabot
Heurekabot-Feed
Its task is to download XML feeds so we can display information about your offers on www.heureka.sk.
On the visited web servers, it identifies itself in the access log with the following string:
“Heurekabot-Feed/1.0 (+https://sluzby.heureka.cz/napoveda/heurekabot/)”
Downloaded XML feeds:
- main (specification at https://sluzby.heureka.cz/napoveda/xml-feed/)
- availability (specification at https://sluzby.heureka.cz/napoveda/dostupnostni-feed/)
Heurekabot-Image
This bot is responsible for downloading images for products. On the visited web servers, it identifies itself in the access log with the following string:
“Heurekabot-Image/1.0 (+https://sluzby.heureka.cz/napoveda/heurekabot/)”
Heurekabot-ImageFullText
This bot downloads images for products that are displayed in search results. On the visited web servers, it identifies itself in the access log with the following string:
“Heurekabot-ImageFullText/1.0 (+https://sluzby.heureka.cz/napoveda/heurekabot/)”
SSL certificate
In general, every website should have an SSL certificate, which serves as a security feature against fraudulent websites.
During the migration to our new system, we began requiring these certificates because we want to download all content only from verified websites. This is primarily for the security of your data (to prevent content from being spoofed).
Not having a valid certificate also means you miss out on a number of customers, as browsers typically warn users, and more cautious individuals may leave the site.

IP address ranges

Checking IP address location
Since autumn 2023, Heureka has switched to a cloud solution, which has changed not only the range of IP addresses but also their location. Therefore, it is necessary to check both the allowed list of IP addresses and also permit access from Germany. Our cloud solution is physically located in Frankfurt, and you must allow requests from this country. (If only a specific set of IP addresses is permitted, all requests from foreign countries will be filtered out before the address check, and the feed cannot be downloaded).
