Basic criteria for matching

The only way to transfer information between the store and Heureka is through a so-called XML file, which is a simple data format through which you give us detailed information about the individual sales items of your e-shop.

If your e-shop is in paid mode (PPC), we start working with the products and include them in the product catalogue. We can display e-shop offers in FREE mode only on the basis of this article.

Matching products to the appropriate categories primarily depends on:

  • The correctly specified categorization path under the tag <CATEGORYTEXT> .
  • The exact name of the offer under the <PRODUCTNAME> tag (or under certain conditions the <PRODUCT> tag).

There is no need to change the information directly on your website, just edit it in your XML feed.

Other specific conditions for product matching:

  • Categories with the necessity to fill in the EAN code.
  • In the categories containing clothing, footwear, luggage and accessories, you need to fill in the mandatory parameters.
