Category tree

The category tree represents a system of all sections and categories that are currently active in the Heureka catalogue. We recommend using these categories in your XML feed for the following reasons:

  • The exact location of the offer in the catalogue.
  • Automatic category matching.
  • Reducing the time of the product matching process.

Examples of categorization paths from the category tree

Heureka.cz | Large Appliances | Washing machines and dryers | Washing machines

Heureka.cz | Children’s goods | Changing diapers | Baby diapers

Heureka.cz | Clothing, footwear and accessories | Footwear | Men’s Shoes | Men’s ankle boots

Heureka.cz | Electronics | TV, audio, video | Accessories for TV, audio-video | TV Accessories | Remote controls

When using your own categories, the following may occur:

  • Possible inaccuracy in the categorization of the product in the catalogue.
  • Extending the product matching process time.
  • Not matching your product.

Examples of custom categorization paths

Large Appliances | Washers and dryers

Children’s goods | Diapers

Footwear | Leather shoes

Televisions and TV remotes

In the catalogue, you can find so-called parametric categories that are not recorded in the category tree. You can get your products into such categories by filling in the relevant parameters.
